One of the special features of our kitchens is our custom design. Today’s clients want their modern necessities to blend or to be hidden so they don’t spoil the look of the handmade cabinetry or decorating style. Now kitchen appliances are made to be concealed; refrigerators, ice makers, dishwashers and warming drawers are all available in fully integrated models. We can also hide other larger appliances behind garage or pocket doors so these items are not visible.
It is the smaller appliance that is usually left out in the open for all to see.
Inspired from pieces in our Antiques Photo Archive, we have designed an assortment of “Hide Aways” that will conceal your appliances from view so they don’t spoil the look of your kitchen. Shaker seed boxes, spice drawers and keeping boxes all have the look of period antiques.
The eight pieces shown will cover most basic items that will be found in your kitchen. Most items are used for a short time each day or week and can be concealed the majority of the time.
All of our “Hide Aways’’ are available in our Poplar Stained and Premium Painted Finishes. They are not available in Cherry or Curly Maple wood.
If you choose one of our Folk Art painted designs, it will be done by the artist to capture the look of the antique that inspired it, not an exact duplicate.
Custom sizes and paintings are available at an additional charge.
