Return Policy
As always, we hope that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase. In unlikely event that you are not, we offer differing policies depending on your method of purchase. All returns must be pre-approved by the sales department at The Workshops of David T. Smith. Original shipping is non-refundable and you are responsible for return shipping and safe packaging of your item(s). Please remember, as we strive to produce an authentic antique appearance reproduction, all items will have logical age and distress. For additional information, please review our policies page.
Clearance, sale, seasonal, and wholesale items are All Sales Final and not eligible for return unless there are defects beyond normal aging.
Shipping Policy (Pottery & Accessories)We currently offer Ground Shipping that is estimated and charged during the checkout process. Your order will be shipped via USPS or UPS, depending on the size, weight, and destination.

Pickups
You do have the option to select "Pickup" as your perferred shipping method during checkout. Items are available for pickup during our regular business hours, Monday-Thursday from 10AM.-5PM. **You must notify us at least 24 hours prior to your pickup.
Once your item(s) are ready for pickup, you will receive a "Pickup Notification" email with directions on scheduling a pickup time. Online purchases can be held in our warehouse for two weeks at no charge.
Reminder: Ohio sales tax applies to all pickups. In the event you are picking up at our showroom from out of state, you may not have been charged sales tax at the time of purchase due to your shipping address. Sales tax will be charged separately at the time of pickup.
